in 1968 The University of Texas, after 2 subpar 6-4 seasons unleashed a new offense dubbed the Wishbone & for the next 20 seasons dominated College Foofball. Darrell Royal and his OC Emory Bellard were the architects of this new fangled system that led UT ton2 National Championships. It was was later adopted by Bear Bryant & Barry Switzer who also won multiple National championships as well.
